Illustrator pack of various bamboo symbols created by :iconmouritsada-stock: ... she created these great brushes for Photoshop, all I've done here (with her permission, of course) is converted them into Illustrator symbols.

**HOW TO INSTALL (mac): download the .pdf file, drag the file to Applications> Adobe Illustrator> Presets> Symbols and then restart Illustrator ... the symbols should be there waiting for you under the small drop down menu at the bottom of the symbols palette.

thanks, though I can't take credit for these, they were created by a friend of mine, both the brushes and the preview image, all I did was change them from photoshop brushes to vector symbols for illustrator, all the better for designers like me who favor the vector side of life ;)

as far as I know it's still up and working - though there've been problems with certain users not getting these to work with their illustrator, no idea why. I've troubleshot for days trying to get it to work for everybody, but in the end I gave up. I had a job/life that demanded more attention. If it's not working, I suggest reading through the artist's description I wrote, there should be a link there to either the original photoshop brushes created by the original artist, or to her profile itself where you'd have to hunt her gallery for it. She much better at making sure her files work for everybody. Let me know if you still need help! :)
